FALL 24' GIRLS TRAVEL FLAG FOOTBALL

Join us for the Oceanside Flag Football/LIVNM Fall 2024 season! Led by experienced coaches, our program offers seven thrilling games, regular practices, and a supportive community for young athletes to grow and excel. Whether you’re new to flag football or looking to enhance your skills, we welcome players of all levels. Our games are held in Nassau County, and we provide a well-structured, fun environment. Fall Season

  • Duration: Mid-August to November.
  • Game Location: Massapequa/Nassau County
  • Game Dates: Sunday
  • Divisions (Girls Only):
    • 8U division (2016/2017 birth years)
    • 10U division (2014/2015 birth years) 
    • 12U division (2013/2012 birth years) 
    • 14U division (2011/2010 birth years)
  • Practice: All athletes will practice together.  Practice dates are Tuesday and Thursday in Oceanside.


Tryouts

We are hosting open tryouts from July 16-18, from 6pm – 7:30pm at Oceanside Middle School. ALL ATHLETES WHO WANT TO PLAY IN FALL REC LEAGUE UNDER OUR ORGANIZATION MUST TRYOUT ON ANY DAY OR MULTIPLE DAYS OF CHOICE.

Pricing

  • Fee: $350 per child for fall league play, which includes seven games, jerseys, and practices.
 

Tournaments

PLEASE NOTE: REC AND TOURNAMENT PLAY WILL BE COMPLETELY SEPARATE, MEANING YOU MAY PLAY ON OUR SUNDAY MORNING TEAM WITHOUT COMMITTING TO TRAVEL TOURNAMENTS.

If you choose to compete in regional/national tournaments, you will need to purchase a uniform set ($120) and pay any entry fee ($40-$50) associated with that tournament. Again, tournaments are not mandatory for rec league athletes; you must opt-in.

Current schedule:

  • Gridiron Wars – July 14th (NJ)
  • Girls Run the World – August 9th-11th (PA)
  • Battle of the Banners – August 25th (Nassau County)
  • Youth Flag Football Championships – February 28th (Orlando, FL)
 

We will release LIVNM’s remaining fall tournament schedule on August 1st. All athletes will have the option to select their availability for each tournament. To learn more about LIVNM nationally ranked programs, please click here. 

Commitment

Every coach has given our all to every girl we’ve ever coached, and we expect the same in return. Practice is crucial to individual player growth. No call, no show on game weeks will result in your athlete being ineligible to compete in Sunday’s game.

If you decide to join us, you’ll be part of a dedicated and supportive team. I hope to see every athlete in our league at tryouts.
